Online Project Advice

If your project is not large enough to support external project management or if you require limited assistance only, you may wish to consider our online support services.

Subscribing is a simple two-stage process:

1.      Complete the e-mail proforma below, giving details of the project and the assistance you require.  We shall evaluate the support you need and reply with a personalised proposal (normally within 72 hours) and subscription invoice.  There is no charge for this proposal service even if you decide not to proceed.

2.      On receipt of your subscription, we will send your individually customised set of documentation, together with specific advice on project management and control.  You will also be entitled to telephone or e-mail support from one of our dedicated project managers who will be available to offer assistance and provide continuity of care as the project progresses.

The scope and extent of support required (and hence the subscription fee) will be determined by the nature of the project but our package will typically comprise:

  • An outline Functional Design Specification for you to complete and issue.

  • Technical standards where appropriate.

  • A draft Invitation to Tender document and advice on how to compile your tender list

  • A draft Code of Practice for contractors undertaking the work.

  • Advice on project planning and control.

  • Advice on managing site work and a draft agenda for review meetings.

  • Guidance on contract and Tests on Completion.

  • Online access to one of our project managers for ongoing support (minimum 6 hours).

The key point is that all the above will be tailored to suit your individual project needs and you will have the benefit of being able to draw on our extensive engineering project management expertise to secure a successful outcome.

Subscriptions start from £1,000 and our involvement can be extended if further assistance is required.  We will provide as much, or as little support as you require, when and how you need it.
